We are thrilled to reveal the winners of the BPA Pitch Prize 2021. The standard of submissions was incredibly high with some brilliant titles, striking prose, and memorable pitches, and it was difficult to make the final selection. The ten winners will receive a one-on-one with our judge, literary agent Joanna Swainson, a chance to pitch their novel and receive expert feedback.
Many congratulations to the ten winners:
Amy Twigg – The Mouth That Swallows
Ceci Mazzarella – The Forgotten Fable of Mussolini’s Fish
Dan Purdue – A Man Repeated
Elin Daniels – The Hollow Mountain
Michelle Pilkington – Felicity Braithwaite is Done with Being Nice
Penny Grace Young – Forty Flowers
Rochelle Gosling – Mazawattee Macarons
Sandy Kundra Verma – Eyes That Gave Up Their Search
Sara Hamdan – What Will People Think?
Tom Powell – Wednesday Morning
Thank you to all who submitted and we wish you the best with your next steps. Submissions to the BPA First Novel Award will be accepted from January 5 to May 29, 2022.
