2018 First Novel Award runner up Mandy Robotham has signed with agent Broo Doherty of DHH Literary Agency.
Sales of her first book A Woman of War have surpassed expectations – e.book and paperback sales in UK are now at 81,000, with the paperback edition titled The German Midwife launching in the US and Canada on June 18. Mandy is currently editing a second historical romance for Avon, due out in December 2019.
Mandy’s entry in the competition, Breeder has recently been edited by BPA editor Frances Merivale and will be sent to publishers by Broo Doherty. Says Mandy “I’ve been a guest at my first book festival in Tetbury, so I’m beginning to feel like a real writer. However, I’m still working four days a week as a midwife, so life is busy!”
